N45658 Annual 2001 - Day 14

Day 14 has been productive. Air box is repaired and cable connected. Compass is mounted on glare shield. Doors are reinstalled. Wing fairings are installed. Interior is installed with new carpeting. I have installed aluminum plates under the holes left from the venturis. The last of the inspection plates are on. Primer is hooked up with the new correct fittings. Parking brake cable connected. Floorboards installed. Kick panels, cover over rudder cable turnbuckles, new trim crank, trim crank housing and more little things than I can remember at this point. I made myself a check sheet as I was disassembling so I have a good reference for making sure I don't forget anything now.

YET TO DO
I cannot install the baggage compartment until I get the last two pulleys. They are the ones for the rudder back in the tail. The landing gear fairings need to get installed. I will install the propeller without the cowling right now to run the engine then go back and remove it to install the cowling. Final inspections and paperwork. Hopefully these items will be completed tomorrow.
